Digital Literacy Update – September 2022

Greetings!   I am happy to announce that The Digital Literacy classes have started on September 6, 2022.  I have found that the learners are eager and want to learn about the Digital World.  It’s been great to see the enthusiasm that they bring.

The classes have been broken down into Computer Basics, Internet/Email and Skills for Work featuring Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  The learners are given a class module and activity sheets to review and work on.

There is still room for the classes if you are interested or know someone who would like to attend.  But please note, Tuesdays seem to be filled up already.  The Computer Lab can hold up to six learners.  Please share this Newsletter with those that could benefit from the classes.  We ask for a commitment of 15 weeks to attend.  September – December.   For more information, please contact Lisa!

I am also collecting ideas for future classes!  What do you want to learn about?  PALS offered classes on Digital Cooking and Storytelling before, so these classes may come back again. Send me your ideas so we can plan new fun and engaging classes!

Wishing you a Great Day and Happy Learning!
