I love November—the first snow fall, Christmas shopping—you either love it or hate it. Attitude is everything, right?
I have been checking on all the wonderful events that will be happening all over town between now and New Years. Check it out here:Â Holiday Events in Edmonton
Just a quick reminder! I will be presenting the ‘Using Novels, the Internet and Magazines ” workshop on Monday, November 28th at 6:30 on zoom. This workshop takes about 1 and ½ hours. If you are a new tutor or have missed these workshops, they are essential skills for helping your learner. If you have not yet registered, the link is here:

Looking forward to all the festivities! Hope to see and hear from you all soon!

Singalong
Do you like music? Do you enjoy singing? Do you want to improve your reading, speaking, listening, and pronunciation?
Come to Singalong on Thursday afternoons at 1:00 in the back room at PALS! We will sing songs that everybody in Canada knows! Songs from our history, songs off the radio, we even write our own songs! Singalong is lots of fun and you will meet new people and make friends. Call Bonnie at PALS to Register.
LELL students are very welcome! 🙂
Grammar
Do you want to understand how words work? Do you need to know how to use them better? PALS has new grammar booklets you can work in. Talk to your tutor and see if you should be working together on these great booklets. Let’s get learning!
