Drop-In Typing

9:00-10:00 AM at the PALS office.

Starting March 15

Get better at typing! Practice typing at your own pace. Please call the office to check on available time slots.  There will be a sign-in and sign-out binder at the front desk. 

Conversation Circle

Wednesdays, 2:00-4:00 PM at the PALS office.

Starting March 20

These classes will provide a structured environment for language learners to practice speaking and listening skills, receive feedback, and engage in cultural exchange. They offer networking opportunities and help learners to boost their confidence. To provide our learners with the best services we try our best to develop new courses and activities to give them all the chances to learn and grow.

News for You Class

Fridays, 10:30 AM-12:30 PM at the PALS office

Starting March 29

Welcome to News for You! The Program offers easy-to-read news stories to help you learn English. they post seven new stories every Wednesday, complete with audio, exercises, vocabulary, puzzles, and a poll. Plus, don’t miss their weekly News Roundup every Monday. Their articles are based on reports from The Associated Press and The Washington Post and are carefully reviewed for accuracy and readability by education professionals and editors.

English Language Learning at EPL

Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00-8:00 PM

Starting March 18 at the PALS office (will return to Stanley A. Milner library once it reopens) 

Embark on a language journey with our English Language Learning class designed exclusively for adult learners seeking to improve their English language proficiency. This engaging course focuses on all four skills of language learning (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) along with grammar.

Get better at English with our Drop-In Typing group. Go at your own pace and listen to stories online in the PALS Computer Room.
