April Math Riddle

“What number do you get when you multiply all the numbers on a telephone’s number pad?” (See answer at the bottom)

Hello all math enthusiasts!

Last month, we finished financial literacy workshops. It was a set of four classes completed in a month. We learned how to manage our money, budget for our goals, and even explored ways to increase our income. But don’t worry if you missed out, we’re having another workshop in the summer, so be sure to let us know if you want to join! Tutors can recommend their learners to join it as well.

In addition, our math test preparation workshop was a success! Many students attended and had the opportunity to write a mock exam, discuss their weaknesses, and learn the correct operations and methods. The next mock exam and workshop are scheduled for June 11, so register now to secure your spot! Tutors can join as well to practice teaching and meet the rest of the group.

We’re also excited to welcome our new tutors Brent and Zhao, who are eager to share their knowledge and help you excel in math.

Lastly, don’t forget about the annual general meeting on April 18th from 5:30-8:00 PM at the Stanley A. Milner Library! It’s a chance to recognize our amazing learners and volunteers. Plus, there will be plenty of fun activities and delicious food served. See you there!

ANSWER: Zero (Explanation: Keypad has a zero and anything times with a zero is a zero!)
