Greetings everyone!
With the summer days getting brighter, longer, and warmer, I am glad to share some updates and plans with you from the Math Literacy program.
Firstly, congratulations to Gideon on passing the apprenticeship exam. Truly it’s the mutual hard work of his tutor Joel and Gideon. Secondly, Math learners and tutors rocked at the Annual General Meeting. Congratulations to Samson for 15 years of service. Congratulations to Ifrah who received the Phil Beakhouse Learner Achievement Award for her hard work and dedication to learning. She was nominated by her tutor, Paul.
What is ahead?
We are planning to start science classes for our trade learners. Please contact Erum if you are interested in it. We have a well-structured science curriculum to meet the learner’s needs. Once the course is done, learners can write a practice exam to assess their understanding.
Then, we are moving our trade classes from the Stanley Milner Library back to our PALS office. Thank you, Samson, Jackie, Tunji, and Carly, for making these classes at their best. Going further, we are planning for creative ways to deliver our courses, such as virtual classrooms and interactive math workshops covering foundational and higher mathematical operations. If you have any suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office.
Education is a lifetime journey, at PALS, we are dedicated to giving our learners the greatest tools, and resources, to assist them in achieving their objectives. Continue making a difference and serving the community.
Stay tuned for additional updates and thanks for your support.
