Summer is coming to an end, but I love all the events we can attend! They are running Shakespeare in the Park at the Cristal Palace Spiegeltent on the Edmonton Expo Centre (7515 118 Avenue). It’s Romeo and Juliet (a tragedy) on odd nights and Twelfth Night (a comedy) on even nights. Saturday matinees are pay as you can. Shows run until September 3 and of course we have the Fringe Theatre Festival… Get out there and have fun!!
Book Club Returns!

Don’t forget—Book Club starts again on Sept 12! We are doing a popular author that we have read before. Small-town reporter Claire Abbott wakes from a nightmare, convinced a bomb will go off in the local school. And then, there really is a bomb scare. After the school is cleared by police and their sniffer dog, Claire is certain the threat isn’t over…
Please contact Bonnie at PALS if you want to join the group. We start at 2 and go to 4 PM. It’s a good story and you will improve your reading and writing skills and talk a lot while making new friends.
