Annual Summer Tutors Picnic
TAC will be hosting a summer picnic for all tutors on Thursday, August 24, 6-8 pm at a local park, food provided. Come by and meet your fellow tutors in person! More details to come… watch these newsletters and your emails for an invitation.
Please join us in August!
Tutors had a great picnic last year:
“It was so nice to be in the outdoors with an opportunity to ‘see and be’ with other tutors.”
“It was in-person and outside. It had delicious cupcakes.”
Tutors to Tutors: Overcoming Learning Difficulties
Sharing Circles are informal gatherings of tutors where we create connections, celebrate our achievements, and share ideas about a different topic every two months. Any tutor is welcome to attend, even if you are brand new! Come ask questions and get ideas from your friendly fellow tutors in all streams!
Our last Sharing Circle took place on May 25 via Zoom. The topic was Overcoming Learning Difficulties. Thank you to everyone who joined us. Watch your email for future invitations!
Any suggestions for future topics and questions for discussion are always welcome. Just drop us a line.
How could PALS tutors better connect and support each other? The Tutor Advisory Committee (TAC) would love to hear your ideas! We welcome you to attend our meetings, which are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 pm on Zoom.
If you want to connect and find out more, email us.
