2nd Annual Summer Tutors Picnic
Our annual in-person picnic took place on the evening of Thursday, August 24th. Due to threats of rain, we moved the location from Constable Ezio Faraone Park to the PALS office.
Over 20 people attended this celebratory evening. We began with an icebreaker that encouraged everyone to mingle. We discovered that several attendees know how to sail a boat, play a musical instrument, and speak another language, but only one of us has a birthday in May!
We enjoyed a delicious catered meal of lasagna and salad, with homemade desserts supplied by board member Tammy. We also had a raffle, with one of our tutors winning the draw. Congratulations, Vaneeza!
Thank you to everyone who attended. We had a lovely time and can’t wait to see you again!
TAC holds Sharing Circles every two months, usually online except for this special annual picnic. The next Zoom Sharing Circle will be in October. Please check your emails for more information and a personal invitation.

How could PALS tutors better connect and support each other? The Tutor Advisory Committee (TAC) would love to hear your ideas! We welcome you to attend our meetings, which are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 pm on Zoom.
